In 1992, ten years after composing the work Vara per Quatre for piano for eight hands, Josep M. Mestres Quadreny wrote this work of three movements and small dimensions, of 11 minutes long.
Both works were premiered by the duo of sisters Eulàlia and Ester Vela who have performed and recorded, along their career, several works by the composer.
