Cabòries
This piece seeks to reflect on the thoughts and worries that come and go, when you travel by train, while linking up with others, with those of other passengers, even, who get on and off the train, bringing their own thoughts, ever more remote, with them, with their gaze lost in infinity. Finally, the train arrives at the station and the travellers continue on with their lives.

Cabòries (Worries) was composed in 2001 while the author was studying composition under the guidance of Xavier Boliart at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Barcelona. It was debuted that same year at the Metropol Theatre of Tarragona by the Botessini duo.
The idea for this piece came about during the course of the train journeys made by the author when travelling to Barcelona. Travelling by train obliges you to come to a full stop physically, and encourages your mind to wander freely. The piece seeks to reflect on the thoughts and worries that come and go, while linking up with others, with those of other passengers, even, who get on and off the train, bringing their own thoughts, ever more remote, with them, with their gaze lost in infinity. Finally, the train arrives at the station and the travellers continue on with their lives.
