Plouifasol

The pieces are intended to provide guitar teachers with material for playing some of the well-known songs that had been studied in the musical language lessons, in response to requests from students.
The twelve pieces making up the collection – three songs per course – are organized by level of difficulty. Each set contains a Christmas carol as a core theme.
Two of these pieces were chosen as compulsory pieces for the third children’s guitar competition organized every year by the José Luis Lopategui Musical and Cultural Association of Barcelona.
I would like to thank Maria José Santos for her help and cooperation in publishing them, without which it would not have been possible. I would also like to thank Josep Barcons for reviewing the pieces, and particular thanks go to all the elementary guitar students who took part in the drawing competition to illustrate the songs.
