Since Consuelo Colomer left her career as a concert pianist, this instrument has been her inseparable friend. Because of this, her piano production is as varied as it is extensive, always very inspired and very personal in the form of expression and sentiment.
Les Estacions (The Seasons) were composed at the request of her son, Antonio Cortés Colomer, to whom they are dedicated.
This little suite evokes the changes and nuances produced over the course of the year with a classical but at the same time very evocative language. In this work each of the seasons is reflected, showing their effect on nature and on our moods.
Colomer has a deep knowledge of the resources of the piano and knows how to use them with the greatest expressiveness every time, delighting both the performer and the audience.
