Esguards silents (Silent sights) was composed in 2003 to be premiered in the same year in the Argentinian city of Rosario, performed by the excellent Argentinian guitarist Sergio Puccini, accompanied by the Rosario Municipal Chamber Orchestra.
It is a concerto for guitar and string orchestra in three movements entitled Incertesa (Uncertainty),Desconcert (Bewilderment) and Desolació (Desolation).
Each one of them wants to express a emotional state as it could be felt by a child from any country in front of the disasters of a war. The piece is dedicated to children that has had to go through the horrors of a war.
This work was inspired by the impact of certain images broadcast on television when the USA declared war on Iraq.
