The works Lamento (Wail) and Desig (Desire) are created over the ideas of the mirror, and the obliquity, which are geometric procedures very adequate for musical structures that I use to compose songs. Desig was created about Renée Vivien's poem, Ploro per tu (Crying for you), that appears in the book La passió segons Renée Vivien (Passion According to Renée Vivien), by Maria Mercè Marçal.
Mosaic en dansa (Dance Mosaic) is a song about phrases from a text by Víctor Català of the same title, describing situations from his childhood with a special recollection about his cats. For this theme, the music is part of a melodic phrase that reminds us of a child's song. The phrase undergoes temporary changes while maintaining the song's interval relationship, and concludes with the initial melody.
Enigma is a song from my previous production, based on a poem by Maria Antònia Salvà, which I have used in this show when speaking about the author.
