The work Quartet de corda núm. 1 “A la Muerte de un ángel” was commissioned in July 2010 by the Anglo-Spanish string quartet The Billroth String Quartet. Its members, at the request of the composer, reviewed the work with the addition of their own interpretative vision of the work written for them.
